Bio

Luisa De Palma was born in Molfetta, Italy, in 1974. He received the M.S. degree with honors and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Politecnico di Bari in 2006 and 2011, respectively. He has been with the Electrical and Electronic Measurements Laboratory, Politecnico di Bari, since 2007, where he has been involved in research projects in the fields of Power quality, Renewable Energy Sources, Smart Grids and Environmetal Monitoring. He is currently Research Fellow with the Electrical and Electronic Measurements Laboratory of the Politecnico di Bari. His research interests include: the development of innovative methods and instrumentation for measurement electrical and environmental quantities; characterization of renewable energies devices; design of automatic testbeds; photovoltaic panels modeling and testing, Power Quality, design testing systems for saturated soil. Dr. Spadavecchia is a member of the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society and the Italian Group of Electrical and Electronic Measurements (GMEE).
