Remote Measurements Lab

Responsible: Prof. Attilio Di Nisio

The Remote Measurements Lab is located at the 2nd floor of the “Luigi Salvatore” building in the same room of the Tech4Biomed Lab. It has been created as a reaction to the sanitary emergency determined by the COVID-19 Pandemic, but it is maintained active due to the high appreciation obtained by the students.

It consists of 8 workbenches equipped by a purposely designed 16-channel switch matrix interfaced to the Internet and, thanks to an online ticketing service, it permits to the students to access all the instruments available in the laboratory as they were on the desk of their houses, without the need to physically come to the laboratory. The portfolio of predetermined laboratory activities from which the students can choose, can be rapidly changed upon necessity.
