Tech4Biomed

Located on the second floor of the “Luigi Salvatore” complex, the Tech4Biomed laboratory was created thanks to funding from the Puglia Region* in order to provide operational support to the three-year degree course in Medical Systems Engineering.

The laboratory is equipped with 8 workbenches each equipped with:

PC with Windows 11 Pro operating system;
Digital oscilloscope;
Arbitrary Waveform Generator;
Benchtop DMM;
Handheld DMM;
NI USB-6212 DAQ device;
iWorx biomedical sensor kit;
Vital signs monitor

The benchtop instrumentation can be used both manually and with remote control from a PC and software developed in MATLAB, LabVIEW or Python, just to name some of the most used programming languages.
