Lab Coordinator: Prof. Filippo Attivissimo

Located on the second floor of the “Luigi Salvatore” complex, the Tech4Biomed laboratory was established in 2020, funded by Puglia Region* to enhance the bachelor degree program Medical Systems Engineering.

The laboratory contains 8 workbenches, each equipped with:

PC with Windows 11 Pro operating system;
Digital oscilloscope;
Arbitrary Waveform Generator;
Benchtop DMM;
Handheld DMM;
NI USB-6212 DAQ device;
iWorx biomedical sensor kit;
Vital signs monitor

The benchtop instrumentation can be operated manually or remotely via a PC, using software developed in different programming languages such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, or Python.
