Bio

Prof. Attilio Di Nisio was born in Bari, Italy, in 1980. He received the M.S. (Hons.) degree and the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from the Polytechnic of Bari, in 2005 and 2009, respectively, where he is currently Associate Professor in Electrical and Electronic Measurements. Since 2005, his research focuses on applied electronic measurements, with contributions to the characterization of electronic components, energy storage systems and renewable energy generation, UAV propulsion, sensor technologies including 3D-printed sensors, computer vision, environmental monitoring, precision agriculture, remotely managed laboratories  and acoustophoresis. His current interests mainly concern the medical field, including sensors, photoplethysmography, medical imaging, multi-omics, and surgical navigation. Dr. Di Nisio is a member of the IEEE I&M Society and of the Italian Association “Electrical and Electronic Measurements Group” (GMEE).
