Remote Measurements Lab

Lab Coordinator: Prof. Attilio Di Nisio

The Remote Measurements Lab is located on the 2nd floor of the “Luigi Salvatore” building, sharing space with the Tech4Biomed Lab. Established in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, it continues to be utilized due to strong student demand.

The lab features 8 workbenches equipped with a custom-designed 16-channel switch matrix connected to the Internet. Through an online ticketing service, students can access all available instruments remotely, as if they were at their desks at home, eliminating the need for physical presence in the lab. The portfolio of predetermined lab activities is flexible and can be quickly updated as needed.
